Alisha Andrews of Blazing Star Farm and Marcus Descant of The Urban Naturalist speak about the purpose, opportunities, and challenges of Urban Agriculture. They highlight the benefits of fresh food into urban areas, the history of urban farming and victory gardens (and how important women were to that movement!), educational and community opportunities of urban farming, and the benefits to local ecosystems from urban gardens.

Chris Adams of Sustainable Development Consulting and Bahia Nightengale of the Central Louisiana Economic Development Alliance speak about the history of sustainable agriculture both here in America and abroad.
